Key fob battery dying
So assuming that I can replace the battery in the fob, is it going to lose it's link to my car? I seem to recall having to have the dealer reprogram the fob to work with my car the last time the battery died.
Is there a way for me to do this on my own?

yea replace the battery before it dies, that normally keeps it from having to reprogram it... and if it doesnt you have to have 2 keys for your car to program it by yourself.
do you have 2 keys for your car??

well i know if you have 2 keys put one in the ignition turn the key over but dont turn the car on then with the unprogrammed remote/key
put it in the driver door then lock it and lock it again then unlock it once
and then leaving the key in the door try locking it and unlocking it with the remote till it starts working.

I just opened mine up and we're going to need (2) CR 1620 3V batteries.

CR2032
3V
best thing to do is jus go to a dealership they have the batteries and they
are the same price if you went to the store to get them but if you care they all use panasonic batteries from factory and dealer.
