Default Keep the modest look or not?

Well I did a little photoshopping on my car and wanted to get other peoples opinion on if it would be a good idea to go full scale on it. The car is pretty much stock as of now.

Here are the pictures starting with the original.

I personally like the emblem delete (especially the rings) but IMO the dark tinted tails on a black car is too much. Another option would be to paint or plasti-dip the emblems black.

I'm in the minority, I presume, but I prefer emblems.....

I agree, I like subtle changes that make the car look nice. Although I like blacked out tail lights I'm very iffy about it since it seems too radical.

Lucky for me I have a can of Plasti Dip if I choose that route.

The thing with the B5 design, as with most Audi's is that they have a certain understated elegance. Being too "radical" tends to take away from the look. That is why there are so many Audi's without body kits and such. Many prefer to swap stock A4 bumpers with S4 or RS4 for example.

That being said, I also think that there are too many owners who "follow" other owners too often with the look of their car. Your personal modifications are yours and yours alone.

Not too big of a fan with the tinted tails. It's so 2001.

I agree with the PlastiDip idea. Debadge the 1.8T and A4 and PlastiDip the rings.

I like picture #3 but with plasti dip rings and all red tail lights instead of smoked. Also slam that car and throw a nice set of rims! Looks good!
