I did think of that, but then the "not in my house" thing kinda popped into my mind
Silver + rust sounds not as sexy as on a black/dark car

$300 for a used hood ftl. go to a junkyard especially if you're just going to be doing a cheap respray

A4s are fairly rare down here..

No, my boost gauge doesnt sit like that usually I was just doing something with it and snapped a pic

I'm trying to figure out this xenon vs normal crap STILL, and for the life of me I have no idea if my lights are xenon or standard. So how would I figure it out? Is there something on the light that would tell me?

Also, tint or fishbowl? I was looking at silver cars online and the tint is kind of nice...

so expensive.. I've seen people give away hoods for very close to nothing on part outs. the junk yard by me was selling an a4 hood for $15.. I think you should keep shopping if you want to save money

if your lights are xenon, they would charge up when you turn them on. so it would take a second or two to be as bright as they get

tint on silver is pretty nice. you should work on lowering it first though

Racelands were ordered as a late christmas present, I hope they hold up at >23 gtf.
So no xenonz just halogens..

Basically I have 1800 to play with from the 2 claims on the car, which will be quite nice

jealous of the money. I think you should get some hid's (~$50 from ddm) and then new wheels..I hate those 15s. and a tuned ecu if you want power. but probably should take care of whatever maintenance it needs first

I just knocked out the timing belt kit, coolant flush, new axle, new alternator, and other misc crap.

Flushing the heater core one more time, and replacing my dv/vac hoses.

Ill never chip it, just because its an old automatic, and I dont need to kill it.
The most I would do would be a diode mod and FMIC

Im going to stick relatively close to the OEM+ style, so b6 or b7 17s are in the works

Update!!
Well the CEL is cleared the ghetto way, which also means my LT fuel trim is non existant. Open downpipe + base maps = car smelling like a tank of gas

Reinstalled my BOV, but have it plumbed where I can easily switch between dv and bov, cool stuff. Not gonna lie, but air hose from petco (pet store) was only 98 cents, fits just right, and it works just fine as vac hose

Wired the boost gauge lights, which is good, and mounted it with the supplied clip, so sorry to all the people that paid like 120 for the fancy mount, or cut into a vent, but mines the coolest


Amp is mounted, subs are now in the upright posistion, so I have a bit more trunk space, If I were ever going to use my trunk.
