you can get 22-24 psi no problem, but the 30psi not unless something is wrong in the turbo system...and thats out of the efficiency range and im sure it would damage your turbo

If his waste gate is not opening properly the turbo will continue to build boost until something goes very wrong. My audi on GIAC used to hit spark/fuel cut (not sure) at 25psi, so I don't know how 30 is possibly, and I sure as hell don't believe a K04/K03 would make more power at that psi.

No way in hell it would make the power efficiently, that's for sure. A turbo as small as these would go into surge long before and make more heat/noise than power. And yeah, if the WG is frigged up, the turbo becomes an infinite upward spiraling power adder...until you mulch the rods.
RockyMountainB5 - anyone claiming those gains from a chip on a naturally-aspirated motor would definitely be full of it, but that's the beauty of forced induction. On a boosted car, some tweaking to raise the boost threshold, adjust the timing accordingly, and a few other parameters, and it feels like you've awoken a monster. My 300ZX gained 86hp from a cone filter and a chip, and the BMW 335i guys are breaking into the 400+hp range from a chip and a set of downpipes.

you can def feel the car spitting gas right out the back, so thats why i dont slam on it when shifting gears, bc when its at 30 psi there is a little more power but not much, if you watch on the dyno the TQ bounces like crazy when you get the 30psi spike then tapers back and feels normal at 22psi...i just want to get this fixed bc i dont want to break this engine before i start my gt3082 build...when im mean break i mean i dont want to end up with a hole in my block or head haha...but with all that said...it is not good at all to have your k04 pushin 30psi, unless there is a tune really meant for it, but the only tune like that i have ever heard of is by mike hood pushing like 26-28psi on a k03, but he had that set up for drag racing.
