600 chp or whp?

Well to get even that number with a 2.7 setup you will need to run twin GT28rs/71 on a built 2.7-3.0 engine with upgraded heads since you will need to run it to 8500 rpms to get the power from those turbos. Just expect a huge amount of lag with that type of setup to get 600whp be it with a 2.7 or 2.0 liter. I drove a S4 2.7 with twin GT28rs setup pushing 32psi and it didn't hit full boost till after 5500 rpm which is about the same as my GT35r pushing 32psi on my 2033cc engine. 600awhp isn't a easy number to get on our cars which is why you dont see many of them at that power level.
Here is my dyno plot done on a dyno that reads 30-32% loss from crank to wheel. We figure my car is making around 600+ true whp.

Ya I dont know if I want that kinda laag because I am also planning on doing some autocross and I dont know how well it will do with that much laag... I was also thinking about swapping in a B5 s4 motor or a saab 900 motor. I have a friend with the saab 900 motor in a m3 and he is running 30lbs at 15,000rpm's on a gt35r.
Now if you want a setup that will spool lower in rpms for those corners where you are stuck using low rpm then you might want to go with a GT3076r on a 2 liter or even a T3 flanged GT2871r. Just dont expect to come anywhere near 600whp..
If you go S4 2.7 then you want to stick with K04's, but even with those you still wont see anything near 600whp.
Saab 16 valve spinning at 15k rpm? Why would he need to run that high on a GT35r at 30psi on a 2 liter?

If you got lagg you aint drivin right... carol shelby I beleive
but seriously how you think them Honda boys drive? gotta keep it in the powerband...
But I used to autoX alot and some of the courses (if you call a walmart parking lot a course lol) are set up pretty stupid or just too small with really tight turns that leave you in first gear at 1500 rpm...
