Just got GIAC flashed!+++
Finally got it done this morning and wow it is a difference. He took out my mbc though cuz he said it needs the n75 to run correctly. Weird cuz before the flash I bypassed the n75 with the mbc because of bucking problems and now its fine.
Is it normal for the flash to adapt? Wondering cuz as I was makin the one hour drive home the boost was slowly raising and it was getting more and more torque?
Also just found out that the squeaking I was having is from both rear springs being completely cracked! Any ideas for the best suspension upgrade that won't break the bank?

and yes the ECU adapts to a certain degree over the first few miles.

Thanks...where did you order yours from? I want to get springs and shocks all around.

You got a chip not a flash. 00+/DBW engines get flashed. Gotta love GIAC! The chip really doesn't adapt as much as you are adapting to it. Especially with GIAC. It's either a tamed ride or your're haling ***. Sort of takes a while to get used to the inbetween.

No, it is a flash. They do it for the 97's now. After I talked to him about it two weeks ago I looked it up on giac's page and it's there. Also, I watched the whole process of him deleting and downloading

Oh, I was also told that the temp. gauge is not going up as it should(thermostat) which will affect the performance. Also, told them timing belt is prob original so they looked and belt and tensioner are original. So, I now have an expensive laundry list for 'er.

Did you look on their web page? They have a news feed on it.
