no there is no gum or anything... that was from the previous owner, he took them off he said he used a straight razor and windex lol... im getting it painted over eventually anyways so its all gravy... im gonna go Nogaro Blue... i think that with the Kamei grille and the matte black trunk rings would look sexified lol
either that or repaint it brilliant black and "murder it out" as some would say lol

Or just repaint them like I did to mine. Krylon Fusion matte black spray paint works great and looks great if you know what you're doing. I know it's your car and you obviously like the look, but I think those eyelids look terrible.

yea i know... i plan on taking them off soon... but i got them for 10 bux so why not haha
and what is back to black? where can i get that? i like the subtle difference in color too, would it make it blend in too much?

you should be able to find it at any auto parts shop. I still have yet to try it on my car, but a buddy of mine used it on this Eagle TSI and he swears by it. It's cheaper and less work than paint but I don't believe it is a "permanent" solution. You may need to re-apply later down the road.
