No you cant just slap that in on a K03 tune(stock or tuner). The WG on the Elim kit is 14psi, so it would produce more then stock boost even on a stock tune. You will need to go with a tune for the Elim kit, here is a complete kit that includes a tune, injectors and larger maf housing.
The larger the turbo the more power you can make, but the boost/power come on later in the rpms. Nothing is going to spool quicker then the stock K03, but then that thing is pretty much out of breath by 5500 rpms. The elim kit will pull hard to 7k.
When it comes to making power on the A4 1.8t, nothing is really cheap. Best bang for the buck is a chip tune for the K03, after that you pretty much pay more $/Hp.
