Default Jumping lizard *****

OK so im moving this problem over to the b5 for better results.

soooo im getting misfire on the right bank on the engine, one random misfire code then 4,5,6.

i can hear debree being kicked around on that side witin the exhuast so i ordered a mig welder so i can remove it and re-weld that **** back.

my question is this tho, while i wait for the welder to get here what other things can i try,

ive already done the following:

-replaced both catalytic convertors
-Checked fuses
-changed fuel filter
-changed spark plugs and Gaped @.32
-redid timing belt
-water pump replaced
-thermostat replaced
-new belt tensioner
-new serp belt as well
-changed vavle cover gaskets
-replaced coil pack
-most of the plug wires
-did a spark test getting spark
-checked for the injector pulse (the screw driver method)
-left battery unpluged over night to reset fuel trims
-replaced maf (like 3 times)
-cleaned throtle body and entire intake manifold
-ordered the vag-com cable and got vcds
-ran seafoam through the tank
-and a little in the intake
-changed vac lines (not very well tho i did have to replace that 3way valve with some ghetto hose invention, and replace the braded hose from the vaccum res with a rubber hose)

any ideas would be great.

What condition is your PCV system in? The hoses and valve that connect to the crank case and valve covers see intake vacuum and can cause issues.

Could be a clogged cat on one bank, though I don't know where a welder would come in. Have you checked compression or done a leakdown test?

Completely off topic, but bshusted, I see you have aero wipers from your sig, are they B5.5 Passat wipers?

Yup. Got the blades and arms from a partout on Vortex for ~$40 shipped. I replaced the rubber with silicone refills from PIAA and it's the best wiper setup I've ever owned. Even my wife commented that she liked them and that's really saying something.

Awhile back I mentioned that since all the fails are on bank 2, it could be a cam sensor. Did you ever look into it? Could be a failing CCT on that bank as well, allowing a cam phasing problem to occur.
