Its winter and i have no heat

Ok makes sense but do you mean the one under the hood? Or is there another one you are referring to

Along the same line, I also am having heater issues. Temp gauge come up to half scale as it should but I only get warm air when I hit 2000 rpm or so. It stays warm for a short wile then starts turning cool again.
The fact that I get warm air indicates to me that the heater core is working somewhat.
The vents blow strongly and switching from the vents to defrost and floor work perfectly.
Should I flush and refill and bleed or any other ideas?
This is a 2004 1.8T Quattro

You may want to post your question in the B6 forum based on the MY of your vehicle. Sounds as if you need to bleed the system if there is evidence of any trapped air or recent work done to the cooling system.
