Default ITG Panel Air Filter...

Looking to replace air filter, anyone hear anything good about these? I understand the K&N filters have oil which can cause some sensor issues. Any recommendations?

I have an ITG that replaced a panel K&N and I noticed a huge difference in response after the switch. Not just in driving, but just the general sound at idle, start up etc, it really smoothed everything out, definitely worth the 60 bucks it cost me.

there is nothing wrong with the stock airbox. why waste your money on something that doesnt need to be replaced. the stock airbox gives more than enough airflow and there is no gain for you when you get a cone filter. the only difference is the sound.

True, cone is for sound, the stock box definitely is up to par with flow, but running an aftermarket panel filter such as the ITG in question is not a terrible idea; its just one less thing to have to constantly check and replace and from what I've read about ITG as well as my own personal experience with this panel filter that I'm now running in the stock airbox, I'd say its definitely worth the money to get one.

Im just concerned with the MAF sensor being affected by the "oil" on the filter, which I don't think is a problem with the ITG.

will I need to buy the filter spray oil as well with it?
