Default Intro for my b5

I don't often frequent on Audiforums, usually over on Audizine but I figured I would give it a shot. Some of you might recognize my car from the for sale ads. I have recently decided to keep it. Could not bare to let it go. Future plans are S4 front and rear bumpers along with side skirts. Aside from that I am quite satisfied with the power it is making and have no desire to make it any faster.

Brief overview of the car:
2000 1.8TQM with GTRS eliminator, Unitronic 440cc tune, 3 inch exhaust and a ton of other stuff. Run daily at 22psi.

On to the pics, since that is what makes you guys happy.

I recognize the car and the username, welcome to AF. Glad to hear you decided to keep it. Love the wheels! Is that a Valentine V1 display on the left in the last pic?

Looks to me like the coolant is fine, just a faded expansion tank. They all do that.

No it should not look like peanut butter mush, and mine does not. Its a 60/40 mix of G12 and water. My coolant expansion tank is just super dirty that's all.

Good eye, it most certainly is. That way I can keep the whole thing concealed and the display is much easier to see with the gauge.

Welcome to AF buddy.

Nice looking car. I'm actually jealous of your working S4 center display/cluster.

Does having that giant cover on top of the intake help?

Thanks, the cluster was horrible when I got it. I sent it out to Mpower over on audizine and he took care of it for me. He uses OEM screens with improved ribbon cable to prevent against it happening again. There is a huge difference between the OEM screens and the Chinese ones.

Keeps intake temps down. It is not just a cover on top. That 90 degree angle where it ends is where a second piece is. The vertical piece has reflective heat insulation on it that reflects 95% of the heat that comes at it (or so it claims). Got it all at home depot for less than $15. Kept the intake temps down with the insane heat we had this summer on the eastern shore.
