Hi everyone,

I am going to finally buy a 5sp shift **** (missing since I bought the car) next week but wanted to find out if the shift **** and boot are colored match to the interior of the car. On my Santorin Blue A4, the interior seats are a tan color but the console and interior panels are a dark blue color and so is my shift boot. So, could someone who has my color combination please verify if the shift **** is also blue? The reason I am asking is because everytime I see a shift **** for sale, it's always black, making me think that maybe my shift **** was black but it came with a dark blue boot. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

If anyone has a oem shift **** for sale, please let me know. I mistakenly bought a Volkswagen Jetta shift **** thinking it would be compatible but the base is not the same. I posted on craigslist to see if I could sell it, anyone in lower NY interested? Thanks.

yeah the boot and **** are colored match i would find one thats after market that looks nice

 

Are there any aftermarket ***** you guys would recommend? I just don't want to get a "cheap" feel common on some aftermarket ***** I've seen. The stock looks like it's made of leather and has a nice comfortable round shape.

i have this in my car right now in the stainless finish, i like it a lot. One downside though that i didn't think of, when the car sits in such a way that sun shines in through the windshield (not as bad when it shines in the windows because of the tint) the shift **** gets REALLY hot. lol. Just somethin to watch out for
