Interior/gauge light questions

the 2.8s have leatherette (which is fake leather that is stronger and more durable than real leather)
the 1.8T's have vinyl leather which is real sticky and has a more sporty look to it. I love my 2.8s leatherette but it shows more wear than the 1.8s vinyl leather. My buddys 99 1.8T has 156K miles and his vinyl leather still looks brand new.
Pros/Cons: The vinyl leather rips easier than the leatherette. The leatherette shows more wear. The leatherette is also more comfortable whereas the vinyl leather is a stiffer feeling (not necessarily a bad thing, just your own opinion). The vinyl leather is easier to clean.
However, dont just purchase an A4 because it has better leather than the other, I mean it really doesnt make that much of a difference. I hope this helps out.

Yeah I'm not a huge fan of the gray interiors on our cars - I think the black and tan/ecru ones look nicer, but it's certainly not a bad interior. Exterior looks great - as Witwer4444 said, be sure to check Carfax history and make sure it's clean.
