Yes I cone from a jdm background lol.

I don't like bov noise either lol. I hear I should get a better DV though. I like a dv better since it recircilates

I hear Ecu flashes are around $500. Could I use a boost controller in the mean time I would boost Max to 14psi untilled I get a tune.

Is it okay to get a ABS module from eBay a used one possibly?

ECU Flashes are around $500+ if you get a new one. You can check the classifieds on the sites and find people selling a chipped / flashed ECU for less tho. Just find an ECU that is the same as yours and you are all set. I did that when I had my A4 - I purchased a full Flashed ECU for much less and that also gave me a spare ECU.

Yes if you are going to do engine Mods you should get new DVs....again you can prolly find them in the Classifieds. You'll see lots of people part their cars when they get wrecked or so also part them when they want to sell / trade them in.

I don't have a direct answer for the Boost controller but my fear would be the fueling. If you adjust for more PSI you gotta make sure it's going to adjust the fueling as well or you could run to lean. I personally would just wait until I had the $ for a flash or found a used one that I liked.

Flex pipe is after the turbo so it wouldn't affect power like that. There are a few possibilities for lost power. The most likely cause is the DV is stuck open and therefore you're loosing boost that way.

ive checked out another audi a4. the only thing is, it says a5 on the rear badge and quattro in the dash. does that mean its better than its average a4 turbo?

the cra has a few problems

1.leaking power steering fluid

2. leaking flex pip

3. turbo not getting power(maybe flex pipe leak?)

4. driver window doesn't go up.

should i buy it and fix the problems if so how much would it cost?

Pictures of this vehicle? Also, how much is the seller asking and how much of the work are you willing to do yourself?

the cra has a few problems

1.leaking power steering fluid - if it's the steering rack that is bad you are looking at BIG $$ to fix this

2. leaking flex pip

3. turbo not getting power(maybe flex pipe leak?) - could be leak, does it have a boost guage? how do you know it's not getting power

4. driver window doesn't go up. - either has a bad switch, or the motor is shot. You would have to take the door apart to figure this one out

should i buy it and fix the problems if so how much would it cost?

Assuming you are buying used, and you don't have a HUGE budget my guess is somebody slapped an A5 badge on an A4. But without pictures and more information nobody will have a direct answer for this one.

**in case you don't see them - I put my replies next to your quesitons in the Quote aboe**

Either way I probably wouldn't buy the car unless the dude was selling it for pennies and animal crackers.
