Default Installing New Rain Tray/battery Cover preface lift

So I finally got around to getting rain trays from a facelift along with the firewall/battery cover. I was wondering is this fairly simple and do I need to take the cover off the cabin filter now? Does anyone have a DIY?
Thanks

It just lays on top. Ideally you'd also have the cowl covers from the donor car (the vented panels beneath the wipers), but even without them it'll go on fine. Just peel off the rubber seal along the top of the secondary firewall, lay them down, and press the gasket back on over the firewall and the front edge of the covers. That's it.

I have everything from a donor car, but I'm not sure where rain channel goes and don't know if I should remove the cabin filter cover that is on there now? I don't know how its even getting air with the cover it has on it now.
