Sorry to hear that Import Masters did not work for you. it seems getting a decent mechanic in your area is alot harder than out here. Hope this other shop works for you, but there was no help on the regional forums?

 

No help. Only CRAZYHAWK replied to us there as he did here. I appreciate all the help.

We took the car today and the only thing we were told after the guy listened to it was, "I'd be afraid to drive it." (and I was afraid to take it the hour trip there.) It was making an awful sound coming from the cam chain tensioner. I believe they will call us tomorrow with their recommendations once they get it in and really look at it. The plan is to do the cam chain and tensioner and the timing belt, etc.
