If you do LED's right and around the edge you wouldn't really notice the LED's

 

Reminds me of the Brabus door sills. Why not also go for the puddle lights?

 

Thats exactly how I meant to do it w/ LED. Just use red and either red vinyl behind it or spray paint the back red.

I would love to have those lights on the bottom of my car on a timer so they turned on only when I locked or unlocked or opened my car door!

 

Just the seat stitching alone in that car is sexy as hell, not to mention the carbon-fiber seat mounts.
