Hi everyone,

I noticed that several months ago, there were times when the immobilizer light in my dash wouldn't go off even after a few seconds of leaving the key in. I'd try to start the engine and of course it would die. Sometimes it would take as many as 3 tries for the key reader to recognize the key and deactivate the immobilizer.

Now, I searched the forums and took all suggestions. Tried using my backup key. Same problem. Then, tried changing the batt on my original key. No dice. Finally, tried changing the reader with an exact part match at the shop. Worked well for several days. Now the problem has started again.

Do any of you have any insights on what to do? I'm stumped.
