Remember: The general rule of thumb is 8oz. per hood and 4oz. per fender sized panel. Refer to professional who's on-hand to estimate how much you need. You can always order more, but you can it's expensive when you order far too much.

THIS! Our shop always has some kind of Audi Merc BMW Jag ect in the garage. We are cheaper than a dealer and do better quality. It also help all the high end owners talk about our shop so the name is out there just as much as joe bow with his 99 b5 who just need a bumper touched up. My current fav ride we are restoring a 1985 dual carb Honda Prelude that has been sitting in storage for 9 years!

even dark to light? sounds like I'm going to need a **** ton of paint.
i think my math is off. i did your 8oz hood/4oz fender and rounded generously and got 112oz thats not even a gallon according to Siri. That doesn't sounds right in my head.

Like I said, talk to a professional who can see the car up close. Light to dark won't be so bad, though. Most good autobody supply stores have a specialist on-hand for these sorts of things. Oh and 1 gallon is 128oz. That's just for the paint itself, that doesn't include solvents being added.
