I think Audi forgot something at the factory

READ YOUR OWNERS MANUAL....
There are two lights for your fog lights.
The one on the left is for your front lights (two) and only come on with your low beams on.
The one on the right is for your rear fog light (one per european standards...) and it only comes on when your front fogs are on.
SO, if you want just your front fogs:
Only turn them on... Left button.
Funny thing was that I was at a light and my wife was behind me. I was pushing the buttons and when we got home, she said there was something weird going on with the brake lights...

if you dont want the rear fog to look funny you can open up the tail light on theother side and put a bulb in there. Then when you turn the rear fog on its the same on both sides.

Yeah it might confuse some ppl but that is just natural selection, right?
I have mine set up that way and it doesnt really look like the brakes are on, and its so nice NOT having people tell me my i have a light out

I put a bulb in the right rear. So if I feel like messing with the person behind me I'll flicker the fog lights and tap my brakes. I also got tired of people telling me I had a brake light out.

British cars and a lot of newer German models now have dual rear fogs. It's ridiculous the amount of R/Os that used to get written up at Audi or VW for "C/S brake light out" because their friend following them said so and it turned out to be someone who didn't know about the rear fog.

Lol at this thread and @ auditech for being a good sport.
Its funny how I now see new vag cars on the road with one bright tail light and I already know they have the rear fogs on without knowing what button they had just pushed.
