I was rear ended Friday night on my way home from work! The guy was in late 90's dodge ram. I was going less than 25 when I hit the brakes before he hit me, I had a feeling he was going to hit me when he hit his brakes really late, when he stopped behind me at the light, and then proceeded to follow me real close until he rear ended me!

Visible damages are:
Trunk lid outer skin is dented in multiple places.
Rear bumper outer skin is. Shoved forward about 3/8" and there are four marks in the bumper from his license plate bolts
That is my current extent of damages but because the bumper skin is shoved forward on the driver side I feel he may of messed up the actual metal bumper underneath

I feel my car faired well compared to his truck which the nose of his truck is pretty much smashed!

I am trying to decide if I shouldn't take this opportunity to go ahead and do the body upgrade that I want to do along with the tailight and headlight kits?
What does everyone think?

If you already are planning to do a body kit then it's obviously a good idea to do it. I personally don't like body kits on b5 (except front bumpers) but that's just me, but with your bumper and such already needing to be repleaced then go for it
