That's what he's talking about. Most zenon projectors will demonstrate this effect, and some halogen will. Heck my mom's 2007 Camry with halogen projector headlights has it!

The projectors I retrofitted into my headlights have the color flicker effect like you wouldn't believe... and I run 5000k 35W. BMW/Lexus/newer Audi ain't got nothin' on them

 

^ Bi-Xenon retrofit is where it's at. At 50ft I've got about 12" of color.

did you do the clear corner yourself? What HID kit did you get?

 

When I got the car, it already had the all clear housings so I don't know where the previous owner got them. The ballasts are from an old 35w Onyx kit I got a long time ago. One of the bulbs burnt out so I bought a new set of xenon bulbs from ebay for 10 bucks. HID replacement parts are cheap and easy to find now.
