Wink I came across 17" wheels for my 2001 Audi A4 1.8T

I saw them in someone's front yard as i was driving down the street,he had 3 sitting out, trying to sell them,he wanted 400.00,i was like...hell no! he said he'll work with me,so i gave em 200.00 for the set. they have snow tires on them with great tread on them, they wouldn't fit on the back but they did on the front, i am going use the low profile tires off the 17"wheels i have on the A4 now and throw them on these 17" wheels.

What do you guys think? good deal? how do you think they will look on my audi A4?
I was looking for new or used wheels to replace the stock 2003-2004 A6 wheels i have now, they have very bad curb rash on them.

P.S. 2 of them have very little curb rash, not noticeable unless you look close on them, the other 2 are perfect.

I have the stock wheels and tires this Audi came with, the wheels are 15" can i use the tires off these on the stock 15" wheels that came with my Audi?

I hope so as it would be great for the winter snow

This would be a great DIY project. You need to basically trim the sidewall of each tire until it fits onto the wheel. You can use a pair of really sharp scissors or a hunting knife to do this. Be careful not to trim too much as the tire wouldn't be able to fit properly. Although if you mess up, you can also use epoxy for rubber and stick the piece back on.

Good luck!

They're called Sport Edition F7. TireRack carries them for $99 each.
