I.C. piping kits
i went to the local speed shop yesterday to get a price on pre-bent aluminum piping and i was kinda suprised at how expensive it is. so, to save the hassel of buying the pipe and then having to cut and weld it to get it to fit right i was wondering if there are any prebent kits online and about how much do they cost. im looking for 2" piping to replace the 1.5" that came with the kit. i only wanna go with the prebent kit just casue i cant weld aluminum yet so for me to attempt this would be a bad idea, and at the price of the prebent pipes i dont wanna have to go and spend a ton on pipe.

RE: I.C. piping kits
yeah the shop i went to wanted 700 (and had my exact greddy ic kit, including the ic for sale in the window for 800[:'(])all you need is 3 90* bends and a 45*. you could just buy one of those piping kits on ebay, fit them in the car using silicon couplers, then when you got them all cut and fitted how you like them take it out, take it to a shop with a mig welder and have them weld the pipes for you. whole thing shouldn't cost you more than 100 bucks

RE: I.C. piping kits
so bascially i should just get the parts form the local shop? it sounds like thats gunna be the cheapest, but i still would need the T pipe that goes to the DV. and is 2" all the way the best setup or should i go bigger in some places? my core has 2" in and out if that changes anything. i kno someone that can weld it for me on sight, as in i can do all of the piping at his shop to get it to fit, then he'll just weld it in. if i make my kit i need3x90* and 1x45*, and about what?..two feet of straight?? and should i run one pipe from the turbo outlet to the ic, then just one solid pipe from the ic to the intake, orshould i put oneclamp somewhere inbetween any of thoseso it can flex. im mainly askin thsi causei got a random check in the mail today from insurance so im gunna try and get this done this weekend.
