Default Hydrolic leak fix?

I got a small hydrolic leak. My dad suggested getting the lucas power steering fluid leak stop and putting in it to try to fix it. I'm kinda iffy on this idea. Do you think it will work or just mess something else up?

The purist Audi guys on here will tell you never to add anything to any of the fluids in these cars, they tend to be very tempermental. If its a bad leak i would suggest fixing the root problem rather than just trying to make it go away. If its not that bad then I don't think I'd risk gumming up the PS components with StopLeak.

So in a nutshell, no.

"Purist"... Thats a good way to put it! So true. Baby boomers can be so naive (no offense, dad.) Hole sealing additives might work for a small leak, but when you do get around to actually fixing the problem after it gets worse down the road, you have created a more of a mess to clean up/flush out than the temp fix was worth.
