for now im just shootin to finish the motor. bad news: i found out the paper mill i work at is laying off half its workers and im sure ill be gone. its a long story but ill most likely loose my job dec 14 and wont have the extra cash for a turbo setup, but my motor will be done by the end of november. if i do buy parts for a turbo build it will be a gt2871r and id use uni 630 file. that setup seems pretty tried and true. if i wanted to extract every hp available id go with maestro but id rather have a tune that works right away even if i am loosing a couple hp's. i just wanna be over 300 awhp/awtq if i can afford to buy a turbo setup this winter

Ok so his resposne was "For the AEB cars we currently have 2 file versions, for 630cc Siemens and 830cc lucas injectors."

These look promising

I know the feeling. I just dropped my pistons and rods in last night. Good luck with your build. I sure hope I can afford to do the by build like you

Sweet!, I wish i would have done what you did rather than drop all my money into my car all at once.
The bright side is that it will be sweet when its finished, but i look forward to seeing your build in the future.

Update.

I got the block back,
Nw-Connecting Rod did a GREAT job on it.
There a few good old boys, and don't come across as the friendliest but i will use them in the future.
My brother in law tried to pick up my block while i was gone and dropped it and bent the trigger wheel, so NW CON ROD fixed it for free.
I was very impressed.
I ended up getting the crank polished, the rods rebuilt, steel bearings, the rotating assembly balanced along with the new clutch setup.
Hot tanked, Bored, and they added the paint which i thought was a nice touch, resurfaced everything, and resurfaced my old flywheel.

i went ahead and bought a engine stand so i could assemble the engine

I bought the Oil sludge repair kit off of Ecs tuning, which came with a new pump and pick up tube which i installed.

And heres a shot with the coated pistons, Looks pretty sweet.

Ill keep everyone updated, the breather off the crankcase i learned was allowing the engine to breathe but ended up getting clogged from all the oil that wasn't being caught.
So a oil catch can is also in my future.
