and if u wanna go lower, with the stock sport shocks the safest is probly h&r race springs. or vogtland sport springs.
Mine's a 2000. The shocks are actually black and the springs are black.

I think I need to clean one of the springs the next time I lift the car to see if I see any writing. I need to take some pics of my car so you can see how low it looks on a flat street, because I had the tripod pretty low too. I actually have barely a 3 finger gap and the tires are 205/55/16. I'd be surprised if this is only a .5'' drop.

this is my car, its a non sport. suspension is 100% stock. so your car should be lower than this by a little if you are sport. my tires are 205/60/R15

O.k., thank you Jc61990. I'm anxious to figure out what the hell my springs are then. Lets just say that these can't be sport springs, unless they're cut, because I have to drive up two pieces of wood in order to fit the floor jack under the front lifting cups. I won't be able to figure it out 'til my next oil change, because that's the only time my car gets in the garage.

**UPDATE!!**

I finally found a little spot through the gap above the back tire that had had some writing on the spring. I poked through a little flashlight that I had and low and behold they are EIBACH. They are black so it has to be the pro-kit (1.2''f/1.2''r). Well, now I need to look for some new shocks then since these seem to be pretty much shot. Thanks for posting up pics everyone.
