I hit 173k yesterday on my 2000 other than regular maintinance and a timing belt nothing to speak of

 

i just turned 94K on my 01 1.8T. i did the t-belt at 70K, and just finished the VVT seals (they were starting to seep) other than the L/F axle seal starting to seep, i have had no issues. i bought the car with 49K from a dealer. i think you will be ok as long as you keep up with maintenance. don't let stuff start to get to the point of no return. every oil change, check it over. ( which is easy for me to say, seeing i have a lift) use quality parts and DONT BE A HACK!!!! you will be a happier person in the end

I just got a 1996 1.8 SE A4, the previous owner barely used it and there is only 54,000 on the clock. She's as good as new

 

96 a4 quattro 2.8l...103k......all stock.....

 

128k on my 97 2.8 quattro. I bought it 8 years ago with 45k miles on it. Besides routine matainence its had clutch, master cylinder, 1 window regulator, 2 controll arms.

 

91,545 on my 97 2.8, I bought it in August with 87,300 on it.

 

2001 a4 1.8tqm with 62k. Runs great.

 

i have a 98 with around 121k still runs great although it needs a new tranny [:@]

hows the clutch on your car? that might need replacing at some point. also why was the ignition switch replaced twice in 3 years?

 

Beleive it or not I have a 96 A4 Quattro with 66,734. Great condition
