'96 2.8 12v. I just hit 160k about a week ago.

 

240k on my car original everything. now it has new timing belt waterpump and all those goods. workin on wires plugs and a few other things as i go along too....picking up another motor from someone on here i lost his number and gonna boost it : )

 

2000 and you guys should like this - 1.8 with 131k on the clock.

Audi dealership service log up to 61k (owned by owners wife), then bought by one of their mechanics sisters. Absolutely no service history from 61k untill 121k which is when i first took it for an audi service, I bought it from that dealership at 112k. I hope that mechanic took care of it, i know at least someone changed the Timing belt at 61k.

It currently idles a little jumpy, rattles when i fully depress the clutch and has a hole in the exhaust. Oh and once in a while i will find that i no longer have any coolant.

Actually one day i thought i needed to get it towed to a different Audi dealership so i rang them up beforehand to tell them to expect it, gave them the reg and they gave me a girls name and a phone no. Must have been the previous owner I said and asked if they could tell me what work was done. The garage replied that they just charged for a bottle of coolant! nice to know she went to a dealership for something so petty.

I love the car and am in the process of sorting this stuff out.

That is not a type-o up there either, my engine code is AVV, i'm Irish.

 

2000 1.8T with 78k.

 

Mines a 98 1.8t with 136k on the clock. Needs some gasket work on the intake and the exhaust. It could also use a real exhaust haha.... lookin into borla for the spring. The previous owner actually cut the exhaust... i dont know why haha.
