How to Hook up Amp to Factory Stereo!!
After a lot of reading I finally hooked it all up and it works perfect. Here is what I did.
1. Power Wire - Ran from Battery through Triangle in Firewall (Some people have cables there but mine had nothing). Cable falls to the ground behind radio. Then under the glovebox and around the passenger side of the car. Then up under the back seats.
2. Ground - Hooked up to the large bolt close to the back passenger speaker.
3. REM/Power Switch - Spliced into the White power wire on factory amp located on back driver speaker. Its the only white one believe me I just hooked this up an hour ago.
4. RCA's - Solder RCA Lineout Converter wires to each back speaker. Then hooked up to amp.
That should answer any questions anyone has about hooking up the amp in your factory tuned audi.
I know I need to get a better radio but I don't wanna put my Pioneer CD Player in it because its not double din.
