Oh and also, they had those Enkeis I mentioned in silver as well, but I see your point about them looking kinda similar to the ones you already have.

If you plan on racing on these, both 18's and 25lbs are to much. You can finda nice set of 17x8's withen the 18-20lb range which will be much better. Also remember that the further out the weight is (taller wheel), the slower it is. For example, a 16" @25lbs with be much faster than a 18" @25lbs.

hmmm, 18" to much, well thats good, cause I was kinda leaning towards 17" simply because of price and 18" just seems like soooo much wheel. The only reason I considered 18" was because i was told it would look better, but that is second to performance for me. So the good news is that all three enkei wheels are offered in 17", now its a matter of color choice. Does anyone think I can pull off the black wheels?

Well, once upon a time, not long ago, there was this user here on AF by the name "bob12312357". Bob, or "PAM", as I believe CLX took to calling him (short for P***y A** Motherf****r), was very obnoxious. His sig was a bunch of nonsense about "As seen on cops, smackin hos since 1999, it's not a chase it's a race" blah blah blah. He would make all kinds of ridiculous claims about running from the cops on his motorcycle and his A4 was just soooo fast, plus he was just generally inappropriate. He was very belligerant and disrespectful toward the Mods and Admins, and never really contributed anything worthwhile to the community. Eventually everyone got sick of his crap and he was banned. Lately he's been up to his usual shennanigans over on vwvortex under the same username, so if you want a taste for what he was like you can look him up there.

Anyway, I just thought it was funny because your screen name kinda reminded me of him.
oh, wow. I see how this is unfortunate for me, the guy sounds like a real douche. Haha, well thanks for pointing it out though, at least now I'm aware of the problem.[&:]

ok, well I think i've decided on the 17X7 enkei wheel posted above in black... But i was also wondering if I were to run 235/45R17 instead of the 225/45R17 reccomended on edgeracing.com, will I run into clearance issues when I get the Stasis/koni street coilovers? Will I need a spacer or a rolled fender? Also, will uneven treadwear be a major problem dropping it 2" absolute max? Thanks in advance, you have all been a great help
