i went from ohio to new york in my a4. make sure you check all the fluids i would change the oil if its gitting close to that time, air your tires, and make sure your spar is good to go. other then that you should be fine. i had no problems with my trip oh, and just incase make sure your AAA is up to date lol

^^what he said. make sure pads are fine too. plus, would you be comfortable doing 2000 miles city driving? if you think its not even that much, maybe a month or two worth of driving and highway miles are much easier than city miles on the car. if you have confidence you could drive your car for a month or two without problems in the city, your good. if you have doubts, then fix whatever you think could go out in 2000 miles.

if it a 5 speed, you'll get mad that you don't have a 6 speed, i know it really bothers me.

^ I know!! lol. Although i think if i had a 6 speed i'd be in the clink right now for wreckless driving. These cars are very comfortable cruising at 100, especially on I-95 in the middle of the night hahaha

If you dont think your able to check it out well enough have a shop do a inspection for trip. They will check everything suspension, tires, belts, fluids, brakes, and they should even check your tire pressure for you! If there a good shop and they say its good to go then you can go and know you will not have a problem. Unless something like your alternator goes out... haha.

don't even get me started with alternator things... i have been trying to figure out why my car doesn't start right away for the past few months... starts everytime, just not as quick as it should and haven't been able to figure it out :/
