I'm not sure the step process, can someone help out?

 

First of all it depends on what year your car is.

 

I have a 2001 audi a4 2.8 30v

 

Contact the tuner of your choice (speedtuning for your car is my recommendation - I've driven their 30v chip and it's very nice, and costs a fraction of the others). Do what they tell you. You can probably just send it to them but I'd talk to them first and see how they want to go about having you send the ECU in so you can minimize the down time.

 

So does it work, and where is the ecu located. As you can tell I'm a total noob as this..

 

ECU is under the hood by the driver side up under the rain guard right at the fire wall. Its in a water proff box
