If the Chevy Aveo had a lifetime warranty, would you buy it? I'm doing a ~$400 retrofit in my G8 using FX-R projectors, Matsushita ballasts and Philips capsules. It's nowhere near the price of DDM but I'll take on anyone with a 55w DDM kit for light output and quality even though I'm only going to be 35w.

www.hidplanet.com/forums will explain everything.

I have no interest in arguing with you, you clearly miss the general point. I would love to have that site explain everything to me, but I have no interest in registering to yet another website. Post the information if your goal is to educate everyone on the virtues of installing the correct HID set-up for their car.

There's far too much information to post.

DDM kits are great, and they are on sale right now too. Yes there is better, but not everyone cares enough or has the means to spend $400 on HID headlights. DDM kits are a huge improvement over halogen, and especially with some new headlight assembly's, You can't beat their price, the warranty, and quality.

Price I can't beat, but quality I am going to smash to hell. Seriously, for those of you considering HID, you will find a wealth of information at that link. From why HID kits are bad to what HID projector setups are good and how to install them in specific cars, etc. Tons of info. I'd post it here but there's way too much of it.

You're not going to get green. http://www.repairfaq.org/sam/repspec/Cie-Chart.png

Keep in mind that the higher you go above native color of these (which is something like 3500K), the dimmer you get. I don't recommend going above 5000k and I recommend 4300k for a good balance between color and light output.

Are you trying to say you think I'm wrong? Because I'm not wrong, nor is it an opinion. It is a fact that can be backed up with measurements, and lots of information on it is available on hidplanet. Maybe you have junk bulbs. If your bulbs are D2s, use only Philips 85122+ bulbs.
