How to check/measure vacuum

Here's a pic of my VDO setup from 42 Draft Designs. With a dremel and a few hours, you can make this mount like I did. It looks stock! Not even car guys who ride shotgun notice it!

Plus, you need to be careful with the pillar pods. Some models have airbags behind those pillars, and there's a debate weather or not it would turn the gauge into a rocket. I'm not one for steering column pods, looks too much like a tumor. You have like 3 (4 if you're greedy) vents at your disposal up front, why not steal one away.

As far as vaccum lines go, I hooked mine up to the furthest one, the one closer to the firewall. I've heard some people say if it detaches your fuel pressure regulator will disconnect and you'll have no input. It looks way cleaner though, and 42DD said it should be fine.
