i have lost 4 pounds of boost. i have been looking for this issue for over a month now and can not locate where the loss is. last night after driving the car for about 20 minutes when i parked the car back into my drive way i leaned on the car whiletalking with my neighbor and i noticed the hood was extremly hot. i could barely touch the hood with my hand with out burning my hand. both sides of the hood was hot but the side where the turbo and cat is was where it was extremely hot. i turned the car on and the thermostat gaige was not reading the motor as over heating. i opened the hood and i could feel so much heat coming from that side of the motor. could this be a exhaust leak? maybe a fuel mixture issue and the turbo is getting hot? or maybe a blown gasket? any ideas or thoughts please say. i have a trip coming this coming saturday ad need to figure this out.
