I'm going to be looking at an 01 a4 1.8tqm tomorrow,
sport edition black exterior with the black/white interior and bose system

I previously had a 99 a4 2.8qm

Anything i should be looking for on the 1.8t besides the turbo for play, knocks, and all that stuff? the car has 152k miles on it bone stock

Maintenance(tb/water pump/thermo/belts). Oil leaks(vc, seals, pan) look at the air filter if they sell a car w/ a dirty filter what else is dirty/neglected?

Thanks! i know the timing belts on audi's are crucial. any specific sounds i should be looking for? rattles? do bad turbos make bad sounds? on the internet it looks extremely clean and it was a one owner car.

 

They sound like a dentist drill. And if really bad blow smoke.
