Default Hood lift supporter (opinions, whats better?)

Im looking at hood supporters, as the A4 i bought is missing this, and instead the old owner had a broom stick just lying under the hood wedged on the side.

im looking at the second one, but just because its only $16 and the logo "strong arm" looks cool, but in all honestly would anyone recommend one specificlly and why?

ECStuning has them up for $55 cheapest , im looking to spend 30 MAX on this lol

Any B5 would work, they all used the same hood strut AFAIK. The thing you're paying for when you buy on OEM strut is convenience. It will just snap in where the old one was. You can buy generic hood struts at AutoZone or Advance for <$10, they'll just take more work on your part to make them fit.

I just use a breaker bar with a 17mm impact deep socket in between the washer reservoir and ABS module lol.
