Default hissing noise...

ok so today, i got out of my car. and i have a turbo timer so my car stays running for a while.. during that time i heard this loud hissing. almost like a popped tire.. i was like wth is that my tires were fine. it was coming from the engine bay. so i popped the hood and checked around. then my engine turned off and the hissing was gone... so i started it back up and check around.. it was coming from above the throttle body. i think it was some kind of valve that has a little nipple thing on the under side that was sucking in air.. is that normal or should i replace it.. i took a picture of it. its kinda dark but you get the picture

can you post a slighty smaller and clearer pic and circle the hose pls? try duct taping what it is if you can reach it

ya common, problem. either replace it or tape the **** out of it lol. you can usually feel the air where it's leaking so you can find it easily

o there's a hose missing? there should be a hose connected. look harder and pull things around a bit. you'll find it, if not have someone else take a look. plug it up in the mean time. you don't want dirt in the system
