Ugh, the 1.8T people? Torque more or less will snap/bend the connecting rods, the pistons can handle way more than 300 horsepower. If you're going with a ball bearing turbo (like an eliminator) then you can run up to 350 horsepower safely. If you use a journal bearing turbo that has a more gradual boost curve, you can push up to 400 horsepower on a stock engine.
You can run either of those kits on a stock engine, if you're worried about it get a tune made to run about 300-320 horsepower. You don't need an FMIC with an eliminator kit, but its highly recommended, and no eliminator kits don't come with injectors or tuning. There are some kits that do come with tuning, but those will run you around $2800 or so.

Well you will need a new clutch to handle the added power, other than that the kit is pretty much complete.
Most tuning kits will come with a ECU tune, injectors, a larger MAF, and thats about it.
An FMIC should probably be intalled prior to installing the eliminator kit, but isn't required.

Well, the tuner will tell you what you need. If the chip requires a VR6 MAF and 330cc injectors (or whatever) they will tell you. Figure tuning and injectors will usually run an extra $800-$1,000 and budget for it.
Most eliminator kits don't require a fuel pump, but anything more than an eliminator will need one.
