Default Hid Upgrade! :) + coolant leak lol

Just finished my first real mod to the A4.

Hid Low beams 6000k!

However, I now have a coolant leak. It seems to be coming from the back of my engine and getting much worse. I talked to tom wood audi here in Indianapolis and they want 115 per hr and say that it's most likely a plug in the rear of my engine and it will cost about 3-400 to fix.

01 b5 1.8t awm engine type

I'm pretty sure I can do this myself but does anyone have any tips or have dealt with this before?

Thanks!
Half way

There we go.

And my fav pic form driving cross country!

HID's are awesome. You should either get some for your fogs too or maybe just some yellow bulbs to do them justice. Sorry about the coolant leak. Maybe someone can chime in and help.

if its the 1.8t sounds like the typical faulty coolant flange. about $15 for the flange and about and hour or so to install it, again if that is the problem

Oh I plan on doing the fogs as well. Just need the $$ first and think i need to do the coolant leak before any more mods. lol

**** happens esp with b5's i've noticed. but it's ok. I just look at the "you know you're a b5'er when" thread whenever i get discouraged. lol

Would that be coming from the rear of the engine bay?

That's horrible. No cutoff. Total hackjob. You're going to be blinding everyone else on the road.
