Default HID Help

Hey guys. I am looking at getting these headlights:http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEWAX%3AIT

My question is I already have an H7 HID conversion kit in my car. I have to get the D2S bulbs for the new headlights above. Can I run the D2S bulb. I know that the ballast are universal for a fact just need to know fi I can run the D2S bulb. I don't see why not just need to make sure my thinking is right. Thanks.

I'm pretty sure you can use any type of zenon bulb as long as it has the correct wattage. The only problem is that you'd have to change the H7 connector.

yeah that is the only problem i could think of, but I can't figure out how to do it. The HID kit I have is from VVME. But they have no answer for me on how to convert the H7 connector so the D2S bulb works.

Get the lights, get another HID kit to use in them, and use your existing HID system in your fogs

yeah...except I would have to get fog first lol. I think I am one of the few without them. Any idea on the H7 prongs to the D2S connectors?

The only way to do it is to cut off the H7 harness and splice the wires to the other type of harness that you need. You might want to check out a local auto parts store in the bulb section to see if they have the one you need. Or you can just hard wire it and cut off both harnesses. I can't think of anything else at the moment. Imo, I would just get some other lamps that are for H7 just to avoid all that. It's your car though, so do what you feel is best.

I don't have lower fogs... My fogs came in my pre facelift headlights, which have been gone for awhile now.
