The backup lights are great. You can actually see what's behind you when backing up at night!

Awesome! My headlights just came in the other day, and my dad says that he needs go grind down one of the adapters to get it to fit?? I don't know, I'll post pictures and details when I get home tomorrow. And I bought fogs from one of the guys from Audizine, so I'm sure I'll have questions about that too. I may just do what he did and make my own update thread so if I have any questions or if I just want to give an update I could do it on there. Anyway... Thanks guys on all of your help!

Alright... Got the headlights in. Where should the light beam be as far as adjusting them? I guess I'm just looking for a picture. Thanks guys!

Hey Clayson, I was the one that sold you the fog lights. Have they arrived yet? Let me know if you need help with the install or wiring, though it should be pretty straight forward. Simply reroute the fog light wire from the headlight harness down to the bumper. You'll need to wire up an extension onto the plugs I included with the fog lights. You will most likely have to relocate one of the horns as well. I made up a metal arm to move them up and towards the side of the car, there are pictures and more details in my update thread.

Edit: Here's a picture of the bracket I made.

Yeah, I was a little confused when I saw you on here, but figured out most members are on both. And n they haven't, USPS says they should be here by the 7th. Now I have tons of questions. Why is there a "City/Fog" wire coming out of the harness going into the new housing I bought from ECS? I was aiming my lights, but didn't know what the plastic screw (by the feeder) did. I was just using the center ones for aiming them up and down. Also noticed that my left is a bit brighter than the right, which bulbs do I buy, and where do you all, Krauto? Just out of curiosity also, why do we have two horns, one for the alarm and ones actually for the horn? Sorry I'm kinda ignorant.

Legitimate questions. When I bought from DDM, one of my bulbs was brighter than the other -- one more reason I won't buy my next set from them. One horn is only for the alarm. When you press your steering wheel horn, both should go off.

Bulb size for Depo e-codes (I'm assuming you didn't buy Valeos) is H7. Buy 35 watt and you'll save yourself from a potential headache.

What do you mean he needs to grind it down to get it to fit?

The city/fog is coming out of where? You may need to relocate the wires in the harness from ECS. If you're going to run actual fogs, you're either going to lose the city/fog light in the new headlight unless you wire it on its own switch or to the parking lights/turn signals OR wire up a new switch entirely.

As far as adjusting them, go easy on the aiming mechanism. It can break easily. If you Google how to aim headlights, there are guides, but just make sure you're not blinding anyone and you should be set.

No, I bought genuine Valeos off a 2000, everyone calls me crazy, but I like the stock look with the amber corners, did replace the orange corner lights with regular clear ones. Anyway, this is the harness I used to convert them, if you look closely the orange wire says "city/fog" which confused the hell out of me because I know that the Valeos don't have fogs built in like the ones I had, so why would the harness have a wire for it? And one of the lights didn't come with a corner blinker plug, so the only thing I had to do to get the old Bosch plugs to fit into the Valeos was to bring down one of the tabs.

And yeah, I'm going to finish up adjusting them later. It goes in the shop Monday, and I should get it back friday. My brother backed into it, so I'm going to get the bumper done too. Then she'll be perfect.

That was of course pre vale swap.

Most people don't do what you're doing and it's a little different. The city/fog wire you're looking at is because some of the Depos and maybe the genuine Euro Valeos (not sure) have an actual city light next to the high beam light.

Since you're using Valeos, I'm not sure if you need to get H7 bulbs or D2S bulbs. I think both work, but honestly do not know. You may want to ask bshusted or someone else might chime in.

Looks like ecru (beige) to me. I could send you my old sunroof controls, I replaced mine with a nicer set from a parts car. My old one isn't in great shape, but it looks better than that one!
