that magnaflow hfc is only 2.25" where if your getting borla exhaust, its 2.5". A shop could make it work, but you should have 2.5" turbo back exhuast. I have a techtonics dp and hfc www.techtonics.com
im pretty sure that borla cat backs are 2.25 beucase i have one and it is, unless within the last year or so they have changed that

yeah, you are right actually, for some reason i think of techtonics and borla exhausts as the same thing, probably because one of the shops here uses techtonics for dp and hfc and uses borla for cat-back.

how'd the non fouler mod work out? if it did, how much did it cost you and what else did you have to do to pass emissions? I have to replace my stock cat, so HFC is what im lookin for, if test pipes arent an easy or easier option

thanks in advance

borla is 2.25"
techtonics is 2.5" w/ borla mufflers

and the non-fouler will only let you pass emissions if they dont test your car under load (some places cant test AWD cars). if they do, your fvcked. only way your passing under load is with a cat

So will the Labree HFC fit my 97? I noticed on like the magnaflow, it was 2000 or later. So I was just wondering if it's the same with the labree?

both will be fine for a gt28rs setup, but 3" does allow more air flow, so if you can afford it you may as well get the 3"
