Hesitation for a quick second around 2600 rpm

they must be gapped exactly or else your engine will always stutter....its your plugs so change them and gap the correctly

highly doubt its coil packs... but ill buy some new ones, or try out a friends and see how that goes.

How so? 01 coil packs have the secondary built-in. There were something like 3 campaigns by Audi and they've been updated as recently as 2008. When the car gets to operating temp, the car will misfire under load from the warm coil packs when the secondary (the ICM in older cars) does not work any longer. Often, you won't get an MIL or DTC until the coil pack dies all together. Don't rule it out until you've tried it.

Oh... I see what's happened, this has been thread-jacked.

Flynnr, you either need your own thread or need to provide your vehicle's info here. Audirpm is OP, he's got an AWM 01, which is the info I was going off of.

lol the first 4 people before me were saying that their cars were doing this too, so i jumped in and said mine did too... and i tried changing spark plugs because of this thread so i figured id post it in here instead of starting a new thread. idk sorry for thread jacking if i did.
