Default HELP! VAC leak 2001 A4 1.8 "see pic"

I have been getting a P0171 on my Sister In Laws car and found this at the rear of the engine near the fire wall "in the cluster of vacuums and valves" can seem to see where it goes couse it's short, and looks like a grey plastic fitting has broke off in it. Please help / send a pic that migt show me what it should look like! Thank You!

Default Check valve

Check valve in the picture has a T connection built in. It looks like that piece just broke off. See the attached picture to see where it should go. I marked it with red. Check valve part number is 07C-133-529A.

Default Edited Picture

I added a red line where the connection should go. You'll see it if you open the attachment in my first reply. You can't really see it in the thumbnail mode.

Definately! Closer examination revealed that it was broken off from that area, I just missed initially. I will have to order it, but hopefully it will clear the code! Thanks!...Max
