Default Help Removing Transmission...

I'm in the process of replacing my trans.. (1999.5 awd man 1.8t)

Any tips, tricks, or links with advice on how to do this would be awesome!
I have a ruff idea of what I'm doing, but any extra advice would be pretty awesome.

Also if anyone knows where I can get a good clutch kit that isn't too much $ that would be awesome too... I may be interested in a slightly lighter flywheel if the price is right.

Thanks!

Don't remove/unbolt starter and watch out... trans is heavy :P Took me 10 hrs to change a clutch in my a4. I went southbend for my clutch from Mike too.

So I just broke something.. I did it while I was removing the bolt on the top of the trans connecting the engine. Its a plastic part of the heater tube thing.. when it broke a **** load of coolent poured out.. Its located on the back of the engine.. Its the black tube that runs over the injectors and to the back of the engine.. the very back of it is plastic and black... I need to know what it is called so I can get a new one.
