Hey I was trying to get some input on removing the lower door molding for a possible widebody project. Has anyone had any water issues from this? I know its easy to do, pop the clips off and grind off the nubs....but will this just be more trouble?

Also, what is recommended for filling the holes on the upper door moldings? Just a simple plug weld? or that specialized body tape? Anyone tried it yet?
