Default help needed! fast

ok so...i just bought a 1997 a4 1.8T quattro...and the like next day it went to crap. first off when i start it, the brakes dont really work and have a rough pulsating, then will brake all by itself while i accelerate....then the ABS an Brake cels go on and it stops. next i have no pull, i havent put it on a boost guage yet but you know wether its pulling or not.. its going no where fast. next is the fact that i have to be at 2000rpm to come off a light or it just stalls, and constantly needs a lot of pedal or it seems to stall, i cant let it drop below 2k. finally theres a lot of clunking and noises coming from my right front.. and the smallest bumps are so lound, someone told me that could be a motor mount though(for bumps) and it has a little snap each time i let out the clutch, also thought to be associated with the mount. itsa got 106k on it...it doesnt seem too badly beat, but more fixed when broken rather than maintained...i hate those people, any words of wisdom? is there hope for this thing?

First for the motor stuff, carefully inspect ALL the vacuum lines you can to see if they have cracks or holes, especially check the one that goes from the intake mani to the diverter valve. Second, get a boost gauge. That will be one of the most valuable diagnosis tools you can get. Start with those things and see what you fine.

The ABS thing could be one of 2 problems. The ABS module is known on Audis to go out, then you have to get the whole module replaced or fixed. You can usually tell this by the ABS simly not working at all and the light flashing constantly. Modulemasters.com fixes them for $200. Thats where I had mine done.

But since you have other braking issues than that, I'm going to guess that you problem is a speed sensor problem. Each wheel has a sensor that tells the computer that the wheel is spinning. You can take each wheel off, pull out the sensor and clean out the housing with some brake cleaner to see if that fixes it.

ok...so the quattro generally isnt that expensive?i was worried, first audi...i just drove pick ups because i couldnt afford the upkeep of a germ, and the clunk is the mount> and the control arm would explain taking bumps rough>
